Tuition

Please find detailed information on tuition fees and payment deadlines for our September 2020 program below.

Please note that the tuition amounts allocated to each individual term will be adjusted based on the courses assigned. All courses in the program are required; there are no elective courses. Students will receive notice of the exact tuition amounts approx. two months before the start of term with the dates on which the tution must be paid. Tuition fees will never exceed the program total. There are no courses in Term 4 (September to December, 2021). Please note: all amounts are approximate and may be different when you pay your tuition.

International Students
Total tuition: $29,975 CAD. Textbooks are included.

  • Term 1: Approx. $7821 CAD non-refundable deposit (the deposit covers the Term 1 tuition and textbooks).
  • Term 2, 3, 5 and 6: Tuition fees and payment deadlines will vary by term; appropriate notice will be given to students.
  • Term 4: No courses.

Domestic Students

Please note: all amounts are approximate and may be different when you pay your tuition.
Total tuition: $14,309 CAD. Textbooks are not included.

  • Term 1: $2705 CAD non-refundable deposit (the deposit covers the Term 1 tuition)
  • Term 2, 3, 5 and 6: Tuition fees and payment deadlines will vary by term; appropriate notice will be given to students
  • Term 4: No courses (September-December 2021)

Langara Students' Union
Students admitted to this program are not members of the Langara Students' Union and will not have to pay LSU fees. 

Additional Expenses

Medical Insurance
Langara College requires that all students have basic health insurance for the duration of their studies. International students are required by law to have comprehensive health and accident insurance to provide coverage for treatment of illness or injury during your stay in BC. Refunds

  • The tuition for the first semester is non-refundable and non-transferable. Subsequent semesters: There is a non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 per session for subsequent terms
  • The last day to change your session start date and move forward your full tuition without losing the non-refundable deposit is one month before program start date.
  • The non-refundable tuition deposit will be charged if you withdraw or change your session start date up to two weeks before the program start date.
  • A partial tuition refund of 50% will be given if you withdraw or change your session start date up until the Friday of the first week of class.
  • No refund will be given after the Friday of the first week of class.
