The Studio 58 network extends far and wide, spans over six decades and includes hundreds of students who have trained here. We are proud of the talented, disciplined and experienced alumni that make up the community of professionals we see in the performing arts today.

Many now work in organizations such as The Arts Club, Stratford and Shaw Festivals, Soulpepper, The Belfry, The Citadel and The Royal Shakespeare Company. They appear in countless films and commercials globally. They create independent film and theatre companies; write plays, screenplays and television shows; program lights and sound; design sets; and stage manage at theatres across Canada.

Dylan McNulty

In the midst of his struggles, Dylan McNulty is eager to see the light at the end of the tunnel. He has already pulled together several outfits that pair nicely with a Studio 58 cap. Though it is bittersweet to say goodbye to the faculty, he knows their presence will live on in every performance he gives in the future.

During his time at Studio 58, Dylan learned how to walk again, how to breathe again and how to approach the work with great honesty and care. He leaves this program not only as a stronger performer, but a more grounded and thoughtful person.

He has forever changed his view of this school, which he has romanticized since childhood. He’s now seen how the sausage gets made and must decide if he wants to keep making sausages. Thankfully, at least now he knows how.

Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way.
