Langara College is a leading provider of classroom-based real estate education. We offer programs and courses in property management, building management, appraisal, development, and social housing management. Certificate programs are flexible and self-paced, conveniently offered during evenings and weekends.

Our programs are recognized by the University of British Columbia, the Appraisal Institute of Canada, the Professional Association of Managing Agents, B.C. Non-Profit Housing Association, and BC Financial Services Authority.

The program curriculum provides a strong practical foundation in construction management to allow graduates to be licensed to work in the construction and development field or establish their own construction business to build residences.

The courses include the seven core competencies required by BC Housing to obtain a builder license: Business Planning & Administration; Construction Management & Supervision; Construction Technology; Customer Service & Home Warranty Insurance; Financial Planning & Budget Management; Construction Legal Issues; and Relevant Enactments.

This certificate would appeal to the following:
