Vancouver, BC – The Georgia Straight today announced their 22nd Annual Best of Vancouver awards. Langara College Continuing Studies is proud to be Runner-Up in the category Best College/School/University for Continuing Education.
"Winning a spot in the Best of Vancouver list is particularly meaningful to us because it shows that the students we serve have a positive experience at Langara.“ said Dan Thorpe, Dean, Continuing Studies. This is the second year in a row that Langara has placed in the annual survey.
“Many people here work very hard to ensure that students receive a high-quality, relevant education whether they are coming in for a single course or a full-time diploma," said Thorpe. "Our goal is to support every individual who comes to us in reaching their own goals and this kind of recognition reflects our success in that mission.”
Langara Continuing Studies has previously won similar awards, including Bronze in the WestEnder/Courier 18th Annual Best of the City awards for Best Continuing Education Facility in Vancouver.
Continuing Studies programs and courses are offered throughout the year in a range of subjects.
