Proudly supporting Covenant House Vancouver, BC – Langara College Continuing Studies has partnered with Covenant House to provide training options to their dedicated volunteers.

The partnership will provide volunteers with access to a range of Continuing Studies courses including business, accounting and finance, computer technology, and real estate. Covenant House staff will have access to 13 fee-waived courses each semester.

 “Langara Continuing Studies is extremely excited to offer lifelong learning opportunities to the volunteers at Covenant House who make a difference by helping at-risk youth take steps towards a better life,” said Phuoi-Linh To, Program Manager, Accounting & Finance, Business and Computer Technology, Continuing Studies.

After opening in 1997, Covenant House has been helping homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth in Vancouver to find a sanctuary and a brighter future.

“Covenant House is thrilled that Langara College has chosen our organization to receive fee-waived courses.  Our staff and volunteers are the heart of the work we do and we are extremely grateful for this opportunity” said Darlene Lynch, Director of Development & Communications.
