Removing barriers. Rewarding excellence.

A gift to student financial support is a gift with lasting impact. For some students, a bursary means being able to stay in school. For others, a scholarship affirms their hard work and fuels their ambition. For all, it’s a powerful message: someone believes in them.

Your support helps fund:

  • Scholarships that recognize academic excellence
  • Bursaries for students facing financial hardship
  • Awards celebrating leadership, athletics, and community service

You can name an award in your own name, in memory of a loved one, or in honour of a cause that matters to you. Donors who commit a minimum of $1,000 annually over five years can name a scholarship, bursary, or award – creating a personal and enduring legacy.

Student impact is immediate and deeply felt:

The support from donors has made a huge impact in my college experience. It gave me encouragement as a single mom that I can push through any resistance and accomplish my career goals. Being selected as a recipient was an amazing feeling.

Annabel Bessem, Langara Journalism student and bursary recipient

Every award becomes part of the Langara story – and the stories of students whose lives are changed by them.
