Langara Foundation Support Our Students Bursary Campaign

Because no student should have to navigate hardship alone.

For more than 25 years, the Langara community has stepped up for students in need. This bursary provides financial support for students facing hardships that put their education at risk.

Rising costs are reshaping the student experience, forcing many to focus on getting by rather than learning and growing.

Today’s reality for students:
• Skipping meals and struggling with rent
• Financial stress impacting wellbeing and sense of belonging
• Balancing school, work, and family
• Expected to “be resilient” instead of being supported to thrive

This bursary exists to change that.

Last December, donors generously helped 350 students cover essential expenses during a challenging time of year. This year, even more students are reaching out for support.

With your support, we can:
• Provide urgent financial assistance to students and their families during the winter months
• Ensure students can stay in school and focus on their studies instead of basic survival
• Help students feel supported, connected, and part of a caring community
