Update: Based on recommendations by the Provincial Health Officer and BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC), we have decided to cancel all Langara Photography Month lectures and workshops.
Langara Professional Photography and Continuing Studies Photography, in conjunction with Nikon Canada, are proud to present renowned photographer Viktoria Haack.
Originally from the UK and a resident of BC, Canada since 2007, Viktoria is influenced by the beautiful environment that surrounds her. She has a background in fine art and anthropology. This combined with her love of the natural world brings a unique perspective to her photography. Her ethos is to tread lightly; observe and search out the subtle visual story within whichever photographic genre she is working. Her work covers landscape, portrait, wedding, event, promotion, editorial, stock and photography education. Viktoria has been published by media outlets around the globe online and in print, including the BBC, CBC, N Photo Magazine, Outdoor Photography, Practical Photography, Photo Life, Canadian Geographic and the cover of Digital Photo. She is a freelance writer for PHOTO News magazine and was a regular contributor to Outdoor Photography Canada Magazine.
