All public post-secondary institutions in British Columbia bargain under the coordinated framework of the Post-Secondary Employers’ Association (PSEA).

How often will Langara post updates?

Updates are posted weekly during active bargaining and as soon as possible when milestones occur.

Where can I find the latest information?

All official information and updates are posted on this website. You can also view progress by employee group on the Employee Groups page.

Agreements

Where can I find current collective agreements?

You can view and download all agreements on the Employee Groups page. Each group’s page links directly to its current agreement.

When does a new agreement take effect?

A new agreement takes effect once it has been ratified by the employee group and approved by Langara’s Board of Governors.

Impacts and Communication

Will classes and services continue as usual during bargaining?

Yes. Bargaining itself does not affect day-to-day operations. If any changes occur, updates will be posted here.

How will Langara communicate updates?

Through the Bargaining Updates page and direct messages from People & Culture or Strategic Communications and Marketing as needed.

What happens if there is job action or a strike?

If any job action is announced, Langara will provide clear, timely information about impacts on classes, services, and campus access.
