Employee Groups

Langara College works with several employee groups, each represented by its own union or association. Collective bargaining takes place separately with each group, following the coordinated framework set by the Post-Secondary Employers’ Association (PSEA) for all public post-secondary institutions in British Columbia. 

Each section below provides the current bargaining status, most recent updates, and a link to the group’s collective agreement or terms of employment. 

Langara Faculty Association (LFA)

Represents faculty – including instructors, librarians, counsellors, and others.

Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 15

Represents administrative, technical, and support employees. 

BC Nurses' Union (BCNU)

Represents nursing faculty in Langara’s health programs. 

Langara College Administrators' Association (LCAA)

Represents administrative and management employees.
