Vancouver, BC - Langara's Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) program, in partnership with Langara Alumni & Community Engagement, is proud announce the launch of its first professional development workshop for RMT alumni. The workshop, titled Enthesis and Clinical Appendicular Skeleton, is happening on Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Conducted by Dr. David De Camillis, D.C., F.C.C.R.C, Dip. MDT, the workshop will introduce a new way to assess for and treat types of non-inflammatory chronic enthesopathies. The seminar will be hands-on. Participants will learn new approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of clients suffering from stubborn long-lasting conditions.

"We're really excited about this workshop," said Linda Turner, program manager, Health & Human Services, Langara College Continuing Studies. On-going professional development is a requirement for all RMTs. As a department, it’s really wonderful be able to support our RMT alumni community by providing meaningful learning opportunities to move them forward in their career. The workshops are free of charge to all alumni. So, I'd like to encourage those interested to RSVP as soon as possible as the event will be first come, first served.
