It is with deep regret, we announce the passing of John F. Parker. A dedicated teacher, actor, director, author, and writer, John died peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2015 at the age of 82 at the Vancouver Hospice Society Hospice Home.
A Langara faculty member from 1978 to 1989, John will be remembered for his dedication and commitment to the theatre and theatre arts. During his time at the College, he taught Theatre History and English Literature, sharing his passion and knowledge for the arts with and inspiring a generation of students.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Langara College in the Employee Lounge.
