Marcie Flamand is an inspector with the Vancouver Police Department (VPD). Since 1987, she has worked in a variety of assignment within the VPD, including Operations, Public Information Counter, Strike Force, Community Policing, Recruiting, and the Beat Enforcement Team. Between 2007 and 2011, she served as the coordinator and team leader of the VPD’s Critical Incident Stress Management Team.

Marcie is currently assigned to the Diversity and Aboriginal Policing Section and is a member of the Sister Watch Committee in the Downtown Eastside, which works to establish positive working relationships with key stakeholders to prevent violence against women and girls.
