Collective Bargaining at Langara College-Union Bargaining Update – March 2026

Langara College continued collective bargaining discussions with its employee groups through March. These monthly updates are shared to help keep our community informed and to support transparency as this important work continues.
Langara Faculty Association (LFA)
Bargaining remained ongoing throughout March, with both parties continuing to meet in a productive and collaborative manner.
To support progress on key areas of discussion, three committees were established outside of formal bargaining. Two of the three committees have now completed their work.
The next confirmed bargaining sessions are scheduled for March 31, April 1, and April 8, with additional dates to be confirmed.
Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)
The College and CUPE continued to meet throughout March and continue to have productive discussions.
The parties have five bargaining dates scheduled in March and five more planned for April as discussions continue.
The College appreciates the time, preparation, and professionalism being brought to bargaining by all participants. Further updates will be shared as discussions continue.
