Course Withdrawal Periods - Important Notice
September 30 Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from Sep-Oct half-semester courses.
October 28 Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from regular semester courses.
November 18 Last day to withdraw from Oct-Dec half-semester courses. To withdraw from a Oct-Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.

 

Important Dates
June 14 Login to myLangara on or after June 14th to activate your registration date and time. Your registration time is pre-assigned and is not impacted by when you active your registration time.
June 19 Fall Semester 2017 Registration Period 1 commences. Check the Registration Guide and Course Schedule for more information.

Limited enrolment registration begins.
June 21 International student registration begins. Students in limited enrolment programs may register into courses that may have been unavailable to them during their scheduled registration time.
June 26 Arts and Science registration begins.
August 11 FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE for Fall Semester 2017. Students must pay all fees before 2100 hours (9:00 p.m.) or they will be dropped from all of their registered courses at 2100 hours (9:00 p.m.) on August 16, 2017. See fee deadlines.
August 16 Students dropped from registered courses if there is an outstanding balance on their student account of $250.00 or more, if they do not meet prerequisite or high school graduation requirements, or if they have been placed on academic suspension. Check your account balance on myLangara.
August 17 Open Registration Period 2 begins. See Registration Access Schedule.

Tuition fees for courses added during this period are due immediately following registration. Courses added during this period will not be dropped for non-payment of fees. Students remain liable for any fees owing. Any outstanding balances on or after September 13, 2017 will be subject to compounding interest and late payment charges (See Fees Information). Non-refundable fees must be paid, even if you have dropped your courses. Check your account balance on myLangara.
August 20 Bursary applications available online (see Langara Bursaries).
September 4 Last day to drop regular semester and Sep-Oct half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 4 College Closed. Labour Day.
September 5 First day of classes for regular semester and Sep-Oct half-semester.
September 7 Last day to drop Sep-Oct half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 11 Last day to add courses without instructor permission.

Last day to drop regular semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 12 First day for withdrawals for regular semester and Sep-Oct half-semester courses. Students who do not want to continue in a course must withdraw from the course and will not receive a refund.  A 'W' will appear beside the course on their transcript.
September 13 Interest and late payment charges will begin to be applied to outstanding accounts. Check your myLangara student account for any outstanding fees.
September 20 Deadline to submit bursary applications.

October 16 Last day of classes for Sep-Oct half-semester courses.
October 18 & 19 Exams for Sep-Oct half-semester courses.
October 22 Last day to drop Oct-Dec half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from your Oct-Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
October 23 First day of classes for Oct-Dec half-semester courses.

Last day to add Oct-Dec half-semester courses.

November 11 & 13 College closed for Remembrance Day.

November 18 Last day to withdraw from Oct-Dec half-semester courses. To withdraw from an Oct-Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
November 30 Last day of classes for regular semester courses and Oct-Dec half-semester courses.
December 2–14 Final examinations for regular semester courses and Oct-Dec half-semester courses.
December 21 Fall Semester 2017 grades available online.
December 22–31 College Closed. Winter Break.
December 31 Last day of the Fall Semester.

March 30–April 2 College closed. Good Friday and Easter Monday.
April 9 Last day of classes for regular semester courses and Feb-April half-semester courses.
April 10 Study day for final examinations.
April 11–21 Final examinations for regular semester courses and Feb-Apr half-semester courses.
April 26 Spring Semester 2018 grades available online.
April 30 Last day of the Spring Semester.
