We are pleased to offer the following scholarships to students in the Criminal Justice and/or Criminology programs.

MIike Passmore Memorial Scholarship in Criminal Justice is a scholarship that recognizes a student registered in the third term of the Criminal Justice Program who intends to pursue a career in the field of Criminal Justice. The recipient must have demonstrated good academic performance in the first two terms of the program.  They must also demonstrate good citizenship in the program, the College, and the community, particularly in group work and in relation to issues of social justice.  The recipient must also demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is awarded in the Fall term. 

J.S. Osborne Scholarship for Social Justice is awarded to a student who demonstrates good academic ability in courses at Langara and has demonstrated their interest in social justice through volunteer work, paid work, projects, or interests at school.  The interest should be detailed in a 300-word essay submitted to the Chair of the Criminal Justice Department. The recipient must have completed at least 30 credits in any program and have a stated intention to pursue further education at any post-secondary institution. The scholarship is awarded in the Spring term.
