The Vancouver Police Department is actively recruiting for their Indigenous Cadets Program that runs June 1-August 31, 2024. This paid summer employment position is offered to candidates of Indigenous ancestry. Pay is approximately 26$/hour. Candidates must be between 19-29 years of age, have their grade 12 or GED equivalent, a valid class 5 driver's license, be of excellent character, and have no criminal convictions or adult charges pending.
