The Faculty of Dentistry offers a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Admission to the DMD program is based on:
- academic performance and personal qualities as evidenced by aptitude tests, problem based learning (PBL) assessment, and personal interviews. Please refer to the DMD FAQ for more information.
- completion of three academic years in a Faculty of Arts or Science including pre-dental requirements at UBC or the equivalent, with a minimum scholastic average of 70% is required (based on the UBC system of grading).
Since facilities for pre-clinical and clinical instruction are limited, enrolment is restricted.
In order to provide you with the most valid, up-to-date course planning, we recommended you visit the UBC website and use BC Transfer Guide to find Langara equivalents. Langara no longer publishes course equivalency tables.
