From Sketch to Screen: A Live Demo of the 2D/3D Animation Pipeline

2D Demonstration: 5:00pm to 5:45pm
3D Demonstration: 6:00pm to 6:45pm
Join Langara instructors for a live, interactive demonstration showcasing key skills from the 2D/3D animation pipeline. Watch as a character moves from initial sketch to a developed digital form in real time, using the same tools and software students learn in the program.

Getting here
Bike
Cycling to Langara is convenient along the nearby 37th Avenue Bikeway (Ridgeway Greenway) or the Ontario Bikeway, part of the extensive Vancouver bike routes . We have bicycle racks located around campus.
Bus
The 49th Avenue bus stops at the main campus, while Main Street and Cambie Street buses are only a few blocks away. Due to construction, buses are rerouted to 48th Ave with temporary stops. Just follow the detour signs.
SkyTrain
Hop on the SkyTrain, get off at Langara–49th Avenue Station, and walk two blocks to the main campus.
Drive
Arrive early! Parking is available on campus, but limited. Parking is free after 3pm. Consider carpooling with friends and make it part of the adventure! Due to construction, parts of 49th Avenue may be inaccessible. Stay up to date here.
