Vancouver, BC - The Langara School of Management (LSM) is excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first graduating class of the Bachelor of Business Administration program with an event on May 26, 2018. The event will honour the program, its graduates, and the rich history of business education at Langara.

Since 2008, almost 900 students have graduated from the program. As a leading undergraduate business school, Langara School of Management delivers real-world-based and academically rigorous business education. Along with celebrating the program’s success, it is an opportunity to reconnect with friends, visit with instructors, and network with business professionals.

“I’m excited to be apart of the celebration. This event is important for bringing together the LSM community and we have never done anything like this before. There is already some buzz around it and I’m expecting a great turnout,” said Charlotte Sander, alumni from the 2016 graduating class.

The night will feature speakers, cocktail appetizers, a cash bar, and other activities to spotlight the program’s history and alumni achievements. To jumpstart the LSM’s philanthropic community initiative, all proceeds from the event will go towards student scholarships and bursaries.

“Creating a scholarship funded by alumni and professors is an impactful way to pay it forward and strengthen their connection to Langara,” said Marianne Gianacopoulos, a current LSM faculty member.

The festivities will be held on campus in the Science & Technology Building. Interested in attending? Purchase your tickets here or connect with us to learn more langara.ca/alumni
