To track and manage your volunteer contributions to VOLT, we have introduced a new online software that helps you and the VOLT team track your volunteer experience with more flexibility and accessibility. This new system is called MyImpact (BetterImpact).

Previously, VOLT volunteers had to submit hours via an online form on the VOLT website and did not have real time access to volunteer information. This means that you had to email the VOLT team to track your volunteer hours updates, and to see how close you are to qualifying for one of the VOLT Recognition Awards.
With our new two-step system, that combines the use of Better Impact and an online hours verification form, you can customize your VOLT volunteer profile, submit hours, view how many hours you have logged, and get instant updates when your hours have been approved. There is so much more flexibility with this approach, and you can interact directly with your experience – we can’t wait for you to use it!
The VOLT team will send you an email the week of September 7–10 and provide more information on this process. If you are a current volunteer who has already logged hours with VOLT prior to August 13, your new login information and password will be emailed to you. If you are a new volunteer who has not yet logged hours with VOLT, we will be providing an electronic sign-up form in early September to enroll you in your MyImpact account.
Yes. If you are a returning volunteer, hours that were submitted and logged prior to August 13, 2021 have been imported into your MyImpact account. If you notice any discrepancies or issues with your hours upon logging in, please contact us at VOLT@langara.ca.
