Studio 58 offers professional theatre training for actors and production personnel. The six terms of practical training consist of intensive classroom work as well as performance and backstage experience in productions. Production students and third term acting students operate sound, lighting and video and act as running crew and stage management.

About the Directors

BC_Headshot.jpgBronwyn is thrilled to be returning to her alma mater, Studio 58, to work alongside these amazing students as well as her long-time collaborator, Nathan Kay on this year's Risky Nights

Carradine is an award-winning writer, director and administrator based on the West Coast. As a queer artist, much of her work focuses on highlighting queer joy and representation on stage and screen. Her stage work has been workshopped, produced and developed by: Arts Club Theatre Company, Zee Zee Theatre Company, Playwright’s Theatre Centre, Intrepid Theatre, Green Thumb Theatre, Studio 58, Pacific Theatre, Babelle Theatre and The Livery. As an arts administrator, her focus has been on building community connections and furthering equity for artists. She is currently the Development Executive for Motion 58 Entertainment and the Artistic Managing Producer for Zee Zee Theatre Company.

Nathan-Kay.jpgNathan Kay is an actor, director and choreographer located in Vancouver, BC. As an actor, he's worked for such companies as The Arts Club Theatre Company, Bard on the Beach, Neworld Theatre, Vertigo Theatre, Green Thumb Theatre, The Search Party and others.

Nathan is proud to be back at Studio 58, devising this piece along side Bronwyn and the fourth term students.
