The Bright Young Things are the celebrities of the 1920s, throwing opulent costume parties while being constantly slandered by the tabloids. A group of aristocrats and socialites, they navigate a post-war, post-pandemic world by straddling the line between celebrating life and living a performance. This Risky Nights explores the public and private moments of the young, rich, and famous, and the outcasts that move among them.
Now in its 21st season, the Risky Nights Series is an opportunity to bridge classroom work and mainstage productions. Students in their fourth term of training create and perform every aspect of an original theatre piece with a professional director.
