Working title: The Bright Young Things
An original production created and performed by fourth term students
Directed by Ming Hudson
Live, October 13–17, 2021
It's 1920's, London. A group of aristocrats and socialites, the Bright Young Things, navigate a post-war, post-pandemic world by throwing costume parties and treasure hunts with elaborate style and wild abandon. This Risky Nights will explore what it means to be young, coming out of a time of great uncertainty, stress, and sorrow. What do we do to reclaim our lives and rediscover our joy?
Now in its 21st season, the Risky Nights Series is an opportunity to bridge classroom work and mainstage productions. Students in their fourth term of training create and perform every aspect of an original theatre piece with a professional director.
