The Economics Activity Centre (EAC) provides a supportive space for students to access help with ECON 1220 - Microeconomics, ECON 1221 - Macroeconomics, ECON 4800 - Microeconomics and ECON 4810 - Macroeconomics. The core service of the EAC is faculty and peer tutoring services. The peer tutors have successfully completed these economics courses with excellence, so they will be a great resource in collaboration with the faculty tutoring.
HOW IT WORKS
The tutoring is free, so just drop by the EAC during the scheduled hours. As mentioned above, the tutoring is in support of ECON 1220 - Microeconomics, ECON 1221 - Macroeconomics, ECON 480 - Microeconomics and ECON 4810 - Macroeconomics. Support for other courses is not being offered at this time.
Tutoring is provided on a first-come-first-served basis. No appointment necessary. Tutors will do their best to provide support to everyone who visits.
The tutors are there to help you, but they won’t do your assignments or homework for you. Also, please bring your textbook and/or course materials with you as the tutors don’t necessarily have access to those.
The tutoring offered is a complement to the lectures and office hours provided by the instructors, not a substitute.
Writing and Tutoring Centre located on the 1st floor of Langara Library and Learning Commons
