Vancouver, BC – On Thursday, June 11, Langara welcomed delegates from ELM Saudi Arabia to campus for a visit and an update on the current ELM student group who is studying in the College's LEAP Program. ELM is a banking company owned by the investment arm of the Saudi Ministry of Finance, and several of their employees are currently studying in LEAP (Langara English for Academic Purposes) for one year to improve their English language skills.

LEAP is an intensive English language program that uses a holistic approach to integrated learning, combining speaking, listening, reading, and writing in an applied format. Having the ELM students at Langara has provided excellent opportunities for cross-cultural exchange within the classroom and campus community.
