Langara Students in Yayoi Shinbo's Japanese 1217 class won five out of the nine spots to compete in the beginner category of the 2017 BC Japanese Contest. Congratulations to Lena Chen, Elizabeth Hsiao and Nita Law for qualifying, and to Darren Snider for winning third place and to Marina Trinica Colonel for winning second place!
