Exerpt: Recognizing the growing demand for professionals in the financial services industry, Langara College has designed a new diploma program. Starting September 2016, the two-year Diploma in Financial Services will allow students to develop their skills in sales and negotiation, marketing, business writing, and financial management.
Students will gain a solid understanding of banking, investments, insurance and financial services products with an optional co-op term to refine the technical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills valued by employers.
