Langara is committed to maintaining a work environment where all employees are treated with respect. The College is also required by law and under our collective agreements to deliver respectful workplace training to all employees. As an employee, you can complete your training online. Training for Employees

Effective November 2013, BC's Workers Compensation Act passed policies on preventing and addressing workplace bullying and harassment. In order to comply with this Act, we have developed an online Respectful Workplace Training course to:

  1. provide you with an overview of the policies and legislation around workplace bullying and harassment, and
  2. explain the legal duties of the College as an employer, as well as your role as an employee in maintaining a respectful workplace.

The entire course consists of 6 modules and will take you approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. Your information will be saved as you go, so you may stop and restart the course at any time.To access the Respectful Workplace Training Course:

  • Click on My Courses
  • Access the Respectful Workplace course

New employees are enrolled into the online course by Human Resources. Once you have been enrolled, you will recieve a confirmation email, including access details. If you are not a new employee and are having trouble accessing the course, please email hrpayroll@langara.ca.
