Langara School of Management (LSM) is a leading undergraduate business school that prepares students for university transfer or completion of business degrees, diplomas and post-degree diplomas at Langara. The Post Degree Diploma in Business Administration (PDD-BA) is for students who hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to pursue a career in business. It is student-centred, and its primary aim is to give graduates real business skills – the skills that employers are looking for.
The PDD-BA is a two-year program consisting of three semesters of in-class studies plus one semester experiential work term which provides students with a career experience work placement. Please note students must successfully complete and pass EXPE4801, 4802 and 4803 to be eligible for the 4804 work experience component of the PDD-BA.
The Department of Applied Planning programs provides a practical, skills-based training in planning. The Post Degree Diploma in Applied Planning is an intensive program designed for students with an undergraduate degree or equivalent. Applied Planning students share a passion and motivation to contribute to better and more liveable communities and a more sustainable future. Students in the program require 16 courses to graduate from our 12 month program with a Post Degree Diploma in Applied Planning. There is an optional work term which includes taking EXPE4801/4802/4803 in the first 3 terms followed by an experiential work placement in Term 4, APPL5410.
This two-year post-baccalaureate diploma, Web and Mobile App Design & Development focuses on web and mobile app design and development, from concept to deployment. Students will collaborate on several major projects, as well as creating real-world applications, developing digital portfolios, and building industry connections. At the end of the program students will possess the specialized design and development skills the industry is looking for. Students will complete four academic terms. There is an optional work term which includes taking EXPE4801/4802/4803 in the first 3 terms, continue WMDD studies in Term 4, followed by an experiential work placement in Term 5, WMDD 4804.
