Providing a safe and healthy workplace is a priority of Langara College. In the unlikely event that you are injured in the course of your duties, it is important for you to report the injury to your supervisor/employer.

Instructions for reporting an injury:

  1. Download the Employee Injury Reporting Procedure package (PDF) and fill out the relevant forms.
  2. Complete Form 7 in the Employee Injury Reporting Procedure package (the form number is indicated at the bottom of the page), and send to Langara Human Resources (hrpayroll@langara.ca) within 48 hours of the incident.
  3. Complete the Incident Report Form (PDF) and send to safety@langara.ca within 48 hours of the incident.

Note: The College provides WorkSafeBC coverage for employees and for students performing work for the College or away on practicum.
