Ranjodh was a key member of the BC “AAA” High School champion R.C.
Palmer Griffins this year. The 6'4" Hare averaged a double-double over
his senior year at Palmer and according to coach Paul Eberhardt "he was
the heart and soul of the championship team". "Ranjodh's team first
attitude, defensive awareness, and toughness make him a great addition
to the Falcons roster," says Coach McCallum.
Ranjodh comes to
Langara from a tremendous program at RC Palmer and he has also
represented his Province at both the U15 and U16 levels. Earlier this
year he won the “Terry Fox” Award at the Terry Fox tournament which is
given to the player who best epitomizes Terry Fox’s never say die
attitude.
Joining Ranjodh at Langara next year will be 6'7"
Jitinder Lohcham, a graduate of David Thompson Secondary. "Jitinder will
give us some much needed size up front," stated Coach McCallum. "He has
good hands, can shoot the ball and will be a tough match up for players
in our league," added McCallum.
The third addition to the
Falcons roster is 6'2" guard Brody Greig from RA McMath Secondary in
Richmond. "Brody has an extremely good feel for the game and will be
able to play any number of positions on the perimeter," says Coach
McCallum and "I know that he can play at this level as he was a member
of the 2007-08 team" added McCallum.
