Fifth-year Falcon Elliot Mason (Richmond, BC) had a big weekend for Langara. He scored timely baskets and played great defence against his opponents’ top players. On Friday at Capilano University, Elliot had 19 points and seven rebounds. On Saturday in a tough road game at Quest University he had 15 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Elliot had some huge boards, points, and defensive stops in the Falcons win to secure second place in the PACWEST conference. Over the two weekend games, Elliot shot 50% from the field on two-point attempts, and 37.5% from three-point range. Up next for the Falcons are the final games of the regular season versus CBC at Langara on Thursday February 26th 8:00pm, and versus KPU at Langara on Saturday February 28th 8:00pm.
