Temporary, Part-Time Instructor

Description of Position:

The Accounting & Finance program area invites applications for the teaching position in the following courses:

  • Payroll Administration (BSAD 1095) – 21 hours

This course is an elective in the Professional Bookkeeper Certificate Program. Instructors are responsible for delivering the courses as described in the curriculum provided by the Program Coordinator. Instructors are responsible for preparing materials that fulfill the course learning outcomes, planning lessons, developing assignments and exams that reflect the integrated nature of the curriculum. This is a temporary position for the September to December 2019 term, with a possibility of extension.


Qualifications for this position: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, and Certified Payroll Manager certification (C.P.M.)
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional experience directly related to payroll
  • Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience in a similar course or related subject in a post-secondary institution
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
  • Experience in developing course materials
