Subject Area: Languages of the World, Continuing Studies

Duration: January 2020, Term of 10 weeks (25 hours per term)

Reporting to: Anne-Marie Dussault, Program Coordinator

Description of Position: French Instructor for a beginner level (non credit course) with the focus on oral communication for daily activities.

Key Responsibilities: Based on the textbook “Ultimate French”  Instructor determines the themes that will be introduced to the students during the term.  Instructor is expected to complement the textbook with appropriate material. Instructor will submit to the Program Coordinator the themes for each lesson.

Qualifications for this position: Bachelor degree, Native speaker. Minimum 4 years of experience teaching French to adults.

Length of Appointment: each term are 25 hours of classroom teaching (2.5 hours per week).
