Our graduates have careers in a diverse range of industries, from art directors in the fashion industry to editors in content marketing and advertising agencies to web designers in leading-edge design firms. Every day, our Publishing graduates apply in their careers the skills they learned during our intensive, 12-month program.
Use Industry Tools
The Publishing program provides hands-on experience with industry-standard tools:
- HTML & CSS
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
Make Real Products
An integral part of the Publishing program is the production of a new issue of Pacific Rim Magazine (PRM) and website. PRM is an award-winning, 64-page publication distributed to all Globe and Mail subscribers in British Columbia. Each issue of PRM is edited, written, illustrated, designed and coded by our students.
The goal of our program is for students to graduate with professional and diverse portfolios they can proudly present to employers.
