Outcomes
Graduates with a diploma from the Environmental Studies Program will have the awareness to confront issues of environmental sustainability. They will also have the knowledge and skill to envision and incorporate new models for society. Objectives
Environmental Studies gives the student a solid base of scientific knowledge about the workings of our global ecosystem. Students are exposed to a variety of complex issues that illustrate how our global environment should or should not be sustained. In addition to knowledge and awareness, program participants build critical thinking skills, analytical abilities and the ability to communicate in both a classroom and field setting through actual hands-on participation.
