Judith M. Atkinson Instructor

Judith is a Professional Artist with an extensive exhibition record, and studio practice. She is an Honours graduate of Emily Carr University of Art & Design, and studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts, Capilano College and with ECUAD in Florence, Italy. Judith is a Painter in a variety of media and has created large scale installations and sculpture with non-traditional materials.

Paul Chizik Instructor

Paul Chizik, Self PortraitPaul Chizik is a Vancouver painter trained in Florence and the USA, his work is strongly linked to historical painting. A painting instructor for over a decade, he teaches in a variety of mediums such as oil, watercolour, gouache and tempera.

Liza Visagie Instructor

Born in Johannesburg, Liza Visagie originally studied at the University of South Africa before moving to Vancouver to pursue an education as a master printer. She completed her degree in Fine Arts at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 1999. Liza's area of focus is landscape painting, and she employs the shapes, tones, and colours found in nature to compose the language of her work. She combines traditional oil painting techniques with investigative and innovative approaches in a contemporary context. Liza has exhibited both locally and internationally.

Cara Bain Instructor

 

Cara Bain Self PortraitCara Bain has a passion for capturing the faces of those around her. Her art communicates complex ideas through the human form. Known for unexpected colours and expressiveness, her work encourages viewers to find beauty in everyone they see. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication, and 13 years of experience in fine arts including participation in numerous exhibitions.
