Make Things Better
Langara’s Makerspace works to strengthen curriculum and broaden professional practice through the promotion of innovation and the advancement of applied creativity. We build upon the opportunities within new technologies and established practice, emergent and distributed communities, and critical contemporary issues. The considered investigation of Making through an awareness of the inherent ethics of objects – their purpose, materials, manufacture and lifecycle – forms a foundational component of the Makerspace identity.
